And The Plot Thickens!

Mara felt so alone, and she couldn't help but think, was she doing the right thing? Was it right to move away from it all? Away from the accident. . . The terrible accident that seemed to kill them all on the inside.
She found her father outside, practicing his Martial Arts, typically. Tears brimmed her eyes. "Father?" she asked, nearing break-down. "Yes, D-" he started, but turned and saw her face. "Aw, my precious daughter," he cooed.

He pulled her into his arms fondly, and breathed in her familiar perfume. "My sweet daughter, she still lives with you, in here. ." he said, pointing at her beating, aching heart. She pulled away from him, and wiped her watery eyes on her bare arm before looking deep into her father's wise chocolate eyes. "You always know what to say to cheer me up," she mumbled. "Shouldn't I?" he asked, chuckling. She smiled again, and turned as she heard her father clear his throat. She turned back to him. "Yes, Father?" He motioned for her to follow him, and she did.

Shing Hong, Mara's father, led her to a small little secluded place with a man, standing. Mara blinked, wondering why she'd been brought here, and soon it was answered. The man bowed to Mara. "I am Lee Kei, coming to you for a personal request." Mara was confused. What request? Her father must have noticed, because he spoke up. "Mara, Daughter, Lee and his family have presented Bride Price." Mara turned and glared at her father. He shrugged. But why would that have been his fault, it was a tradition. Mara sighed, thinking it over. She couldn't disgrace her Chinese-ancestors.

Lee raised a hand to her cheek and caressed it. She knew better than to pull away from him, and she she stayed frozen, but smiled nontheless. "You have gifts waiting for you at your home, Mara."

-Days Later-

Mara could hardly believe it was the day of her marriage. This marked an important part of her life, and even though she didn't get to pick the man she married, she was glad it was Lee and not some other Chinese men. Lee is actually pretty sweet, yet perfectly aware of his position as the traditional man. She was beginning to hope she was the perfect wife, and could give him many sons. Even still, she still wished to have a few daughters of her own, and couldn't fight that urge.

Lee's family was at her home that day, paying respects to each other and to the family deities, of course. Soon everyone was settled in, and Mara was excited to get to the next part of the marriage.

 After a little while, the couple exchange rings, and stared at each other for a while after the ceremony. Mara's father cried, and looked shocked and happy. He was happy because his daughter seemed to have chemistry and love for her new husband, something that is sometimes hard to come by with arranged marriages.

Lastly, to conclude their Wedding Banquet (xǐ-jǐu), Mara offered tea to her husband's family. It was a small wedding, but that was the best of it for Mara. She preferred it that way, and her big day was a success.

-Later that night-

 Shing announced that he found a new home for himself, with Mara protesting. Shing, of course, didn't listen to his daughter's protests and went anyways, telling her that a married couple need their own space for the future. Which Mara knew what he meant by that, and knew tonight was the night.

Mara and her husband were lying on their bed, talking. They both knew it was the time, Mara needed to be pregnant. For the Kei clan to exist, sons needed to be born. Mara blushed, and attempted to cover her face with her fan. Lee smiled, and Mara put it away.

Mara pulled her husband to her, a little embarrassed by their body touching for the first time. His body was oddly warm, a little too warm. Was it his first time too? She swallowed, and they began kissing before woohooing for both of their first times. They heard the lullaby, and it was then they both fell asleep to it still ringing in their ears.

That morning, Mara was sick. That was another sign, and she was sure her husband would be proud.

As she walked into the dining/tea room, the smell of breakfast fresh from the stove turned her stomach. Her hand went up to her mouth, as if she was to be nauseous again, but then suddenly stopped, and the smell turned into food again, edible food. Lee smiled at her as she ran over to get her plate and eagerly sat down. She waited for him to be seated before they ate their waffles together.

Mara worked on her wilting garden for a couple hours. She hoped to obtain more seedlings before too long, so she could watch them grow.

Then she started practicing the traditional Martial Arts. She wished she could start at her father's level and start up, but of course that's impossible. Either way, the whole time she thought about her mother Salline Trish's death. It was odd, and miserable. Nobody in the family expected it, and Mara became overwhelmed and stressed being in the same house her mother used to live in, and especially with Mara's step-father (Alex.) Her mind played out the events of the tragic day, and how Mara had contacted her father and arranged to come 'home' to China. She'd always had contact with her father, but never visited him in China. When she got to her homeland, she found it incredible and decided to stay there indefinitely.

The sound of her husband's slowed movements caught her attention, and she turned to face him. He was sporting a new belt, the white belt. (level 1) Mara giggled. "Very good." He did a ninja-like pose to show off even more, and Mara couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked doing it. She smiled at him before returning to her own practicing dummy.

Soon after her husband, Mara was able to show off her yellow belt! (level 2) She imitated the fearless pose of her husband, laughing. Then her nausea started again, and she hurried off.

Then she took a hot bath, literally scrubbing her skin. When she finished, she felt like a new person! It was so refreshing.

That night, Mara was awoken by an eccentric feeling in her stomach. Almost like a. . kick! Mara's mouth twisted in a prideful smile, and she rubbed her stomach fondly. Her first pregnancy! Slowly, her eyes turned icy as she faded out of the reality and into deep thought.

Her mother's horrific car accident replayed in her mind. . .

It was another normal day for the Trish family, or as usual as it could have been since Mara's mother's miscarriage of her brothers. Mara knew her mother had been acting odd since she was born, the only survivor, but never expected it to end like this.

 Her and Alex were married, though had been arguing that day, and Salline took off in her SUV for some fresh air. She needed to cool down, and take her mind off of her dead children. The tears clouded her vision as she drove; she knew she needed to pay attention, but at the time she was worried about other things, and that was why it happened.

Salline hit a car head on, killing her in a matter of seconds.

 Young Mara and the rest of the family heard the information on the news, and could instantly recognize their missing mother, and wife. The family wept for a long time, but Mara felt as if it hit her the hardest. It was her fault; if she hadn't had survived, would she never have to hear her mother asking why only Mara had to live, and not the boys? Or would they all have survived the second time around? Would Salline hadn't have took that drive along fate?
~~~
Mara's mother had 18 children, Mara being the last. She knew her mother had a challenge going to have 100. "If not for me, then for her honor," Mara said as she pledged to continue the challenge for her mother's sake.
-Days later-
Mara welcomed Marri Trish to the family!
Babies: 16-18: Romantic Getaway
After a few days of the triplets being teens (sorry, no pictures), Salline was feeling confident that her daughters would grow up to be great young vampire women, and so she said goodbye to Aleesha, Lateesha, and Patreesha. They moved out, eagerly awaiting to see what the world had other than a house-full of kids.
Bryce, Riley, and Luke grew into children. They were charming! You could tell the similarities between them all, they truly were triplets.
Then of course she started her regular duties; she did the laundry.
 ~cleaned out the rotten food.
-made breakfast.
-and even took out the trash.
Salline walked in the door after taking out the trash to only hear Alex talking to Riley. "I love your mom, Riles," Alex said, oblivious to her presence. "But?" Riley asked. "But she's doing that challenge without me." He frowned. "Tell her how you feel! I think she loves you back." "No, no, I couldn't do that," Alex shook his head. Riley turned his head to see his mother and mumbled, "Well I think you just did." Alex turned, and Salline saw his face turn a bright red. Salline ran to her room again, without a word.
Salline did a three-way-call to both Charmain and Addy, telling them of what she just witnessed. "Oh, Salline! It finally happened!" Charmain exclaimed. "What do you mean?" Salline asked. "He finally told you. Sorta. Anyways, you have to stop hiding. He's not gonna wait forever," Addy mentioned. "I'm not hiding!" Salline shot back. "Salline, you are. Truly. You're afraid he won't take you back," Charmain said. "No, I'm just continuing the challenge! I'm not afraid of anything...except spiders." Salline sighed and ended the call. She knew they were right, but didn't want to admit it to herself.
Salline felt trapped. She was stuck between the love of her life, and the challenge with the men she hardly knew. She loved her children, and Alex too. She wanted to get away! So she did.-
They arrived at our rooms soon after. They were in China! Salline had always wanted to go here. The bad part is, Salline only had the funds to get two rooms. The boys shared a room, and so did her and Alex. She couldn't just leave Alex at home, that wouldn't help their situation and probably create another one.
Salline was sight-seeing and searching the shops when she came across a book store. She wasn't that much into books, but figured one of her kids might be one day, so she went in. A handsome boy behind the register greeted her, his voice soft, yet firm, and quick, heavy with his accent. Salline offered a smile, no longer thinking of books. He would make an excellent father! "Can I help you?" he asked. "So, uh, I'm Salline Trish, a tourist. I'm on a mission to have 100 babies. Would you like to help with that?" He looked shocked for a moment, but began locking the register and turning off the lights. He winked at her.
~~ GAME SCREWUP!
Yes, this is what I had for you, right before my game screwed up. It made it to where she couldn't have children because they wouldn't finish the action. I removed all mods, CC, and it still wouldn't work. I tried resetSim and EVERYTHING I knew to get it working again, and yet it refused. So I had to uninstall! Unfortunately for you guys, getting my game working again is more important to me than blogging about it. :\ Maybe my game wanted to forever be a cliff-hanger!? But I'll tell you what I had in mind. . At the end, Alex set up a romantic setting around their foreign bedroom, and they talked. Salline agreed to only continue the challenge with him, and he tells her he doesn't care that she is now pregnant. Salline would have 3 chinese babies, and then in the next post, the marriage! And then forever on it would be a sweet ending with alot more kids. :P But seeing as that was determined NOT to happen, this is the end. :(
EDIT:  I have decided to make the game-screw-up part of my story, and will play it as such! Hope you guys enjoy it!
Babies 13,14,15: Ghostly Request
Salline couldn't wait to continue the challenge and eagerly started aging up the kids. The first ones she aged were the triplets. All 3 seemed to take after their father and inherited some bit of his vampirecy. Aleesha seemed to get the least of it though, and Salline hoped that her eyes might get their natural glow later on.
The twins were next. It was hard to believe they were twins! Charmain seemed to take after Salline a bit more, and Danielle took after her father. Except Charmain got her father's hair color, and Danielle got Salline's. Both girls got their father's eye color however.
Zander was last. He was a handsome young adult, and Salline was sad to see him go, but children must leave for more to come.
Salline found some time to tend her dying garden, since everything was in order. Everyone was fed, clean, and content. But she found herself wondering about the past.
That is why later she found herself at the cemetery, visiting Luna's grave. "Luna, you are missed," she mumbled. "Umm. Miss?" someone called. Salline jumped. She didn't think anyone else was around. "Yes?" she said, turning. Her mouth dropped. It was a ghost! "Are you the one we hear about? The one whose goal is 100 babies?" "Y-Yes." "Might you accept me as a challenge father?" he asked. Salline smiled. "Of course."
*
They kissed to seal the deal, and Salline took him back to her place to see it through. This is what you get, Alex, Salline thought sourly.
After Tragic Clown (the ghost) had left, and they heard the lullaby, Salline woke up and was greeted by a few messes in the kitchen. Someone had apparently tried to cook while she was sleeping, and didn't clean up their mess. She sighed and started working.
The house was a mess! A couple hours without Salline and this is what you get. So Salline cleaned the toilet after the dishes and counter.
***
Then she did the massive load of laundry. She had never saw so much laundry in her life! But that's what you get when you have so many kids, she guessed.
  By the time she'd finished, Salline was going to check on the kids and perhaps teach them some skills when she noticed Charmain had them all diaper changed and fed. She held Lateesha in her arms and was humming a song. "Wow," Salline said. "you should do this more often." She laughed. "Sure thing, Mom." Charmain smiled. Downstairs, Salline found Danielle holding Aleesha. What's going on? It was kind of odd seeing them holding her children and being so kind, but at least they were helping. They'll make good mothers one day.
So they taught the vampire triplets how to walk! They also taught them to talk. Having the girls around to help was so efficient!
Salline had to clean the dirty horse highchair. It was annoying that Aleesha had thrown her dinner all over it, but Salline knew she couldn't be mad at her for long. She was just a toddler, anyways.
Salline made Autumn Salad for dinner that night. It was another one of those "silent" dinners. The only thing said was Danielle wished to get into a fight with someone and win. Salline enjoyed the silence though, she didn't want Alex to know of her pregnancy until they baby was born, so he could be in for a shocker.
The girls took a break from helping Salline to have fun in the sprinklers.
Meanwhile, Salline put the triplets to bed. They were exhausted, and Salline wasn't too far off. Plus she was feeling a little nauseous as a pre-pregnancy symptom. She went to bed early.
Of course that didn't go well. She woke up shortly after that. Though that only means the 'deal' was a successful one. Right? She weakly made it back in her room. She couldn't help but feel that there might be something off about this pregnancy. Something weird. She would schedule an appointment tomorrow with her doctor to be sure.
The girls woke up early and had cereal before heading off to their first day of high school. Nobody else was up yet, not even the toddlers.
Of course, with the girls gone, Salline was left to care for the triplets on her own. It wasn't too chaotic though, considering she'd been doing it for a while before Luna left. She didn't mind being on her own much.
Salline was about to feed Lateesha when she felt a kick, confirming her pregnancy. She smiled, and eagerly fed the triplets. She remembered the odd feeling she had last night, and called her doctor.
"Yes. May I talk to the doctor please?" Salline asked. They put her on hold. Finally he answered. "Yes?" "Dr. Landgraab, would you meet me someplace, that way you can check out my pregnancy? I think something is wrong. ." "I'm at home." Salline hung up.
Salline made sure the girls were content before she left. Alex was there, so she didn't worry about hiring a baby sitter.
He met her at the door and did a small inspection of her stomach. "How odd, I don't feel a heart beat. Salline, I'm afraid you've had a miscarriage." Her eyes widened. "Are you sure?" He hugged her sympathetically. "I'm sorry." "O-okay," she stuttered before leaving.
Danielle and Charmain were doing their homework as Salline walked in. "What's wrong, Mom?" Charmain asked, noticing her silence. Salline didn't answer. She felt sick. Her first miscarriage. . Challenge moms don't have miscarriages. Why did she have one?
Despite her feelings, Salline still made dinner for everyone. She was family-based, and she felt it was her job to keep everyone happy and healthy, even if it hurt her. She ate and abruptly went to her room.
She turned up the music really loud, so nobody would hear her tears. She couldn't believe it. She'd lost a baby. She wrapped her arms around her legs, and hung her head low. Why me?
Soon after she heard the door creak open, and her daughters scurried in. "Mom?" Danielle called. They walked in anyways and sat on the bed. "Mom, what's wrong?" Charmain asked. Salline sniffed and looked them both in the eyes. "Doc says I've lost the baby." Charmain wrapped her arms around her mother. "Mom, you're a great mom. Just because you lost one baby doesn't change that. You did nothing wrong."
"I love you girls," Salline said, smiling. "Now get to bed, it's late." "Kay, Mom," Danielle said, leaving.
Salline kissed her daughter on her forehead. "Goodnight, Mom. I love you." "I love you too." Salline hugged her before going to bed.
When she woke up, she noticed the twins were already gone to school, and that she had woke up late. She found a note from Alex stating that he was at work at the military building. Since when did he get a job?
Then of course she did a quick load of laundry, and washed the dirty, uneaten bowl of cereal that Alex had left lying around.
 And then took care of the triplets. Aleesha started talking about doctors when she was playing with her siblings, maybe she would be a doctor when she grew up. Growing up, Salline thought. It was time yet again for a round of birthdays.
They were all gorgeous, though Aleesha still hadn't gained her true vampiress eyes. Salline began to wonder if she ever would. Thankfully Lateesha and Patreesha didn't tease her about it.
Charmain and Danielle were both stunning young adults! Danielle moved out quickly. Charmain hung back a few minutes before she left.
Everyone went to sleep soon after all the birthdays were over, and their bellies were full. They were exhausted, and the girls had their first day of school in the morning.
Salline woke up early, and sat up as she heard footfalls near her. "Salline, why are you-" "Because I feel like it, Kay?" Alex blinked. "Well somebody's grouchy." Salline sighed. "Sorry," she said as she stood. A car horn sounded outside, and Alex turned. "Gotta go to work."
Salline was about to make the triplets some breakfast for school as she felt a sharp pain. I'm dying; this can't be happening!
The girls were freaking out. Their screams combined with her own didn't help the situation much. Nobody knew what to do! They were helpless. Where's Alex when you need him? Of course, work.
13. Bryce Trish (by Charmain Collins)
 14. Riley Trish (by Victoria Booth)
15. Luke Trish (by Charmain)
Salline couldn't even begin to show how surprised she was! She didn't have a miscarriage, she only had ghostly babies! Salline held them all tight. She loved them already.
 (Luke)
 (Riley)
(Bryce)
Salline also heard from a long-lost grandmother of the triplets that sent them each a 'special' friend. Well, here we go again.
Hope you enjoyed the smaller post. :\ I did. I love ghosties! <3 If you would like to request a name for future babies, feel free to post here: Request More soon! :3
