Babies 19-21: The Truth

The Trish's new house. Why is it the Halliwell Manor off of the movie series Charmed? Good question that I have no answer to other than I love the episodes. Anyways, I didn't make the house (unfortunately) but you can download it just as I did here. Enjoy your Charmed simmies!

SALLINE'S POV

The truth is . . . I'm alive. I have been, and probably will be for years in the least. My family knows this; all except for Mara. My 18th child, Mara. My heart aches for her, though I have been unsuccessful in reaching my daughter in China. Her father is a scoundrel. He has known ever since that I was alive. Why he keeps this a secret, and keeps my daughter from me is unknown. Still though, life must go on. The challenge must continue.

Not much has changed with the triplets, besides us cutting their hair. It got so long, that you couldn't see their face because the white from their hair made it to where you couldn't see their eyes or anything! I find it illogical for Mara, the last baby, to have grown up before my boys, but the trio refuse. They won't tell me their reasoning either. For now it's fine though, because they're the only kids in the house. I miss having a ton of kids running and jumping throughout the crammed house. Though it won't be for long.

I'M PREGNANT! It happened a couple months ago, and I'm due pretty soon. I was surprised to learn the news, considering how long it has been since I was pregnant. But I'm excited! I can finally get this challenge rolling again . . and with the love of my life.

Alex. He dyed his hair a shocking green/yellow combo. I personally don't like it, but he does--so I pretend I do. (yes, I know this isn't the real Alex. It's as close as I could get, except the hair. But I had to try and remake Alex, so deal with it! ahha) I have been successfully married to Alex now for a while. Actually, a bit after the accident, but I don't want to get into that right now.

I loved the feeling of family, even if there were chores to be done. Family meant a lot to me, and I knew since Luna's death that I would have to step up and stop being so immature. It was time to grow up. My family needed me, and I needed them, at any cost. So silently I cleaned the house . .

Then I made some hotdogs for lunch. I couldn't believe how hungry I was! Then a thought came to me;; Charmain! I hadn't spoken to her since the accident! Who knew if she thought I was dead or not . . I made a mental note to call her after eating.

Hungrily I ate before everyone else. But I couldn't help it. Besides---I'm pregnant! I'm eating for two. That excuse always works, especially when you're using it against Alex.

After lunch, I did indeed call Chazz. It was surprising to hear her voice again, since I hadn't in a while.

Charmain: "Hello?"
Salline: ". . . Chazz?"
Charmain: "Salline! Oh my gosh. Where have you been, are you okay, where are you now?"
Salline: "Woah! Slow it with the questions. One--I've been in the hospital for the longest time. Now I'm home. Two--yes, I'm okay. Doctor said the wounds healed on their own! And three--I'm on one-twenty-three Prescott Street."
Charmain: "I'm coming over." After that I heard the dial-tone. She hung up on me! Though relief flooded through me knowing that she still cared.

Before I knew it she was there in my living room, sitting on the couch. It amazed me of how much she had changed! She was drop-dead gorgeous. I offered her a smile as I walked into the room and took the seat beside her. "We have a lot to catch up on."
Her: "Yes we do! So what happened in the hospital? I'm sorry I wasn't there as much as I could have been."
Salline: "Oh no, don't feel guilty! You were there when you could be, and that's all that matters. Anyways, so the doctors said I was in a coma-"
Her: "Yeah, I remember that."
Salline: "for months. Alex said there were a few times when I would flat-line, and the doctors would have to come in and revive me. He said I was always so pale, and looked so sickly." I shuddered, imagining the scene. It must have been terrible. I'm slightly glad I didn't remember. "But then, like some miracle, I came out of the coma. At first I hardly remembered anything, but soon it all came back. Doctors were observing me like 24/7. They were kinda annoying. But at least they helped the wounds heal."
Her: "I'm so glad you're OK! I can't hardly believe you're here, I mean.. I thought you were.."

Quickly I saw the flashes of the accident flash before my eyes . .

That was the last thing I saw before I went unconcious, and it was not a face I wanted to ever see again. It was one of pure agony, misery . . My stomach lurched as they wheeled me away.

-And then the first time I opened my eyes. It took a few minutes for me to realize where I was, and my condition. I ached all over. I didn't know if I could speak, I didn't even know if I still had my legs!

I attempted to sit up. It was painful, but I managed. I looked down. I did have my legs! I was glad about that. But then I turned to Alex. "A-Alex?" I mumbled.

"Salline! You're awake!" he exclaimed before turning to face me. "Lay back down!" He quickly moved to my side and helped me back down, while weaving his fingers through my hair.
"W-what happened?" I asked. The details were still fuzzy.
"You got into a car accident, and had to go into the ER. After they revived you, you. . . " his voice broke. "You slipped into a c-coma," he whispered. "The doctors said it was no hope. But you're awake now!" he leaned down and kissed my forehead. I looked around.
"Where's my babies?"
"The triplets are downstairs in the cafeteria. Mara . . Mara called her dad to come get her. He took her back to China with him."
"Why?" I choked.
"She was certain you were. . . " he broke off.

Tears slid down my face as I realized that I would never get to see Mara grow up. She didn't even know I was alive. There was no way Alex could have stopped her, either. He wasn't her father, and with me gone, or thought to be gone, he had no legal rights to her.

The nurse came in a few minutes later. "Ah, you're awake! I'll go tell the doctor," she said before disappearing through the door.

The boys came in a few minutes later, closely followed by the doctor.

"Welcome back, Mrs. Trish! The tests show that you're fine. No internal bleeding as we can see, and your bruises should go away in a few days. Your vitals are good. I think it's safe to say you can be discharged today. . ." he said, before leaving the room for us to get settled.

~BACK TO REALITY

I quickly hugged her before pulling away. "And that's not all," I said, looking down at my growing stomach. "No way!" she exclaimed. "Yes!" I squealed with her. She rubbed my stomach, feeling for the baby's kick. We smiled at each other. Now we had a chance at happiness. I went to bed soon after that. When I woke, I saw a note from her.

Salline,

Sorry I had to leave early this morning! You know how it is . . Hope to see you soon!
P.S: Get on Facebook tonight!

~Chazz

And after that, I went into labor.
